Throwback Special:
Tigers Tickets & Water Solutions, A 1968 Classic!
On August 25, 1968, Tri County Water Conditioning ran one of its most iconic promotions, offering free tickets to a Detroit Tigers vs. New York Yankees game with the purchase or rental of a Miracle Water Conditioner. The ad, which ran in the Jackson Citizen Patriot, featured founder Darwin Watts and Bill Watts, blending local service with the excitement of a historic baseball season. That year, the Tigers went on to win the American League pennant and capture the 1968 World Series title, defeating the St. Louis Cardinals in seven games. It was a championship season for the Tigers and a winning moment for Tri County Water and its customers.
